The DPT Difference
Dexter PT provides a very different approach than most large cooperate clinic groups. The PT's give 100% of their time during the hour session and will go over that time if need be.
About Jody Dexter
PT, OCS, CMPT
Jody has her Master’s of Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University and her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Iowa. Additionally, she is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through NAIOMT and a Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the APTA. She continues to study with the Institute of Physical Art, the Barral Institute for visceral manipulation, and the Postural Restoration Institute.
In addition to her extensive post-graduate training and experience, Jody has personal experience that makes her uniquely qualified as a physical therapist. She survived injuries and surgeries following a severe bike accident causing a tibial plateau fracture, ACL, MCL and meniscal tears. Jody underwent four surgeries in one year and went from being unable to stand, back to doing 90% of all activities over three years. She has also recovered from wrist and thumb surgeries. Due to this challenges, she can empathize with the physical and mental pain related to an injury and the rehab process.
